Legal Immigrant vs. Illegal Alien

A common tactic used by pro-illegal alien groups, which is often embraced by the media, is to refuse to differentiate between a legal immigrant and an illegal alien.For example, I once saw a news report that referred to the Minutemen as an "anti-immigrant" group. That's a lie. The Minutemen don't oppose legal immigration.Today, I heard an interview with the head of an illegal alien advocacy group. The man said he was going to Washington to "… guarantee that the immigrant voice is heard."There is no moral equivalency between a legal immigrant and an illegal alien. Those who pretend that both groups are the same are insulting the millions of legal American immigrants.
